Hawaiian Kahuna Ritual

Much more than a massage, a rite of passage!

I invite you on a trip to the Pacific Islands to discover the traditional massage of Hawaiian master healers: the Kahuna massage.

Originating from the Hawaiian Islands, this massage is unique and powerful in many of its aspects.

It has been practiced for thousands of years in temples during sacred ceremonies and particularly during rites of passage to adulthood.

The adolescents then received massages and various body and energy treatments for ten days. The objective was to help them free themselves from their negative thoughts and feelings (mental ruminations, depressive feelings, fears, etc.) and to lead them to develop a more spiritual connection with their physical vehicle.

Through this rite of passage, adolescents were then initiated into the way of Aloha, the way of love and harmony, acceptance and forgiveness, openness and gentleness.

Today I invite you to come discover and experience the power and beauty of this ancestral ritual of passage.

Throughout our lives, we all go through passages of transition and transformation (life change, separation, mourning, healing, moving, moving from one state to another, etc.).

We then have the feeling of dying a little more each time to ourselves to be reborn in another form. It is therefore important to accompany and support these periods of transition by bringing meaning and awareness to what we are experiencing.

The power of ritual also allows us to honor and sanctify these periods of great transition, in order to anchor them more deeply in our bodies and in our lives. Much more than a massage, Kahuna is an experience to live, a powerful and profound treatment integrating a holistic approach to healing by balancing the body-mind in its physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions.

A subtle balance between masculine and feminine, it is performed mainly with the forearms and consists of long, fluid and rhythmic movements that nourish and detoxify the body, while the pressure of the forearms and hands releases muscular tension.

The movements are ample and the contact is continuous, like the ebb and flow of the waves of the Pacific Ocean. I also use dance movements as well as breathing and music to induce a modified state of consciousness in order to intensify the power of the treatment.
